Obituary

On Wednesday, January 27, 2021 James Edwards Williams of Bowie, Maryland entered into eternal life. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Mrs. Vera Louise Walters of Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Williams was the founder and president  of The House of Williams Funeral Service located in Washington, DC. He took great pride in serving families in Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia and North Carolina for over 40 years.  A Memorial Service will be held in his honor on Wednesday, February 3rd via Live Stream. The viewing will begin at 1pm followed by the Memorial Service at 1:30pm EST.  Mr. Williams will be greatly missed by countless family members, friends, and colleagues alike. Interment February 4, 2021 at Stephens Missionary Baptist Church, Inez, NC.
